We earlier showed you what dynamic QR Codes are and how they work. In this video, you’ll see what static QR Codes are.
Unlike dynamic QR Codes, static QR Codes are permanent in nature. Once created, they cannot be edited. Also, they do not allow you to track their scanning activity.
Further, as static QR Codes do not store a redirecting URL but the target data directly, they are denser than dynamic QR Codes.
Hence, dynamic QR Codes are better suited for promotional use cases. But if you want to use QR Codes for a promotional use case such as inventory management, you can go ahead to create Static QR Codes.
